The Academic Interest Form helps the Meredith College Registration Team build an accurate first-semester schedule tailored to your intended major, academic strengths, and interests. Completing this form ensures that you are placed in appropriate courses that align with your academic goals and degree requirements. When answering questions, please ensure you are being as accurate and detailed as possible.

As part of the General Education curriculum, Meredith requires students to complete courses in Cultural Engagement. One option for fulfill this requirement is through the study of a language, including Italian, French, or Spanish.

Placement Testing
Students who have studied a foreign language in the past (e.g., high school) without earning college credit will take a placement test online to determine which class is appropriate for their level. Those who excel on the test will be invited to complete additional testing in person to verify their proficiency.
